Some of the activities for your enjoyment:

Enjoy Bluegrass and Gospel Music, Old Fashion Dress, Storytelling, Arts and Crafts, and Handcrafted Gifts, and visit the modest log cabin birthplace of the famous Cordell Hull, Father of the United Nations and Nobel Peace Prize Winner. There will be Food, Music, and fun throughout the day - Children's Area this year to feature: Children's Activities, Corn Shuck Doll Making, and Petting Zoo.


Byrdstown is located just north of I-40 on either side of beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. We are less than two hours drive from Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga. The area is steeped in history with the earliest settlers being Revolutionary War soldiers or their sons. Come join this unusual day of fun, history, crafts, clogging and music in the undiscovered mountains we call home!

The Folk Festival will also offer food, crafts, handcrafted quilts,and live demonstrations in various craft genre. Please come on out and check out their wares and demonstrations at some point during the days' festivities! Below is a list of the scheduled events. We do not anticipate any changes, but please be aware that they could happen.
All vendors will set up between 8:00AM-9:30AM.
