Directions

The Cordell Hull Birthplace and Museum is located just a few miles west of Byrdstown and is filled with memorabilia of Hull's life and times. It is located 1.5 miles off Hwy. 111 at 1300 Cordell Hull Memorial Drive (Hwy. 325W).

From Cookeville to Byrdstown

From Cookeville,Take TN-111/ TN-42 to Livingston. When in Livingston take the TN-111 bypass (McDonalds on the corner) turn left and follow bypass until it dead ends on Hwy. 111. Turn left to Byrdstown (18 miles). Cross the bridge (over Dale Hollow Lake, Obey River) and continue to head north until the Shell gas station (on left) or Hwy. 325. Turn left (west) on Hwy. 325/Cordell Hull Memorial Dr. and travel approximately 2 miles. The Cordell Hull Birthplace Museum State Park will be on your right hand side, 1300 Cordell Hull Memorial Drive.


From Knoxville to Byrdstown

Take 1-40 west towards Nashville to exit #288 Livingston/Sparta. Follow Hwy. 111/ TN-42 to Livingston. When in Livingston take the TN-111 bypass ( McDonalds on the corner) turn left and follow bypass until it dead ends on Hwy. 111. Turn left to Byrdstown (18 miles). Cross the bridge (over Dale Hollow Lake, Obey River) and continue to head north until the Shell gas station (on left) or Hwy. 325. Turn left (west) on Hwy. 325/Cordell Hull Memorial Dr. and travel approximately 2 miles. The Cordell Hull Birthplace Museum State Park will be on your right hand side, 1300 Cordell Hull Memorial Drive.


From Nashville to Byrdstown
Take I-40 E towards Knoxville (75 miles). Take exit 288 to TN-111 North towards Livingston. From Cookeville,Take TN-111/ TN-42 to Livington. When in Livingston take the TN-111 bypass ( McDonald's on the corner) turn left and follow bypass until it dead ends on Hwy. 111. Turn left to Byrdstown (18 miles). Cross the bridge (over Dale Hollow Lake, Obey River) and continue to head north until the Shell gas station (on left) or Hwy. 325. Turn left (west) on Hwy. 325/Cordell Hull Memorial Dr. and travel approximately 2 miles.
